PROGRAM

the-programWith anything in life, if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is! However, not all is lost. If you are ready to take control of your life with respect to a sensible diet and exercise plan, then please read on.

Expending time, energy and making sacrifices is how you will achieve real results. They depend on how much you are willing to give. The flexibility of this system allows each candidate to decide how much and how often to exercise (so long as a baseline minimum is accomplished) and to what degree eating habits or patterns are changed. There is a direct correlation between the investment you make and the return you receive. When you have the nutritional tools and resources combined with a proven, safe and effective workout program, you are in control. This system teaches you to be your own nutritional programmer, step by step.

If you are ready, lets discuss what it takes to get real results that last because you can live with this program, not just for a few weeks or months, but for life. A healthy lifestyle is all about the journey, not the destination. I can assure you that if you do your part, the system will not let you down.

nutrition
The reason most people begin a diet and exercise program is to improve their health, wellness and appearance. A balanced combination of aerobic exercise, strength training and flexibility is just as important as the role nutrition plays.

THE BASELINE / REFERENCE DIET

exercise
Once we have established your goals and completed the assessment, we will develop a customized exercise program specifically for you. All successful fitness programs include a balanced combination of:

  • Aerobic Exercise
  • Strength Training
  • Flexibility

Most people can achieve their goals in as little as 30–45 minutes, 2–3 times per week. One of our primary responsibilities to our clients is to teach them to become their own trainer. This is represented by the word EMPOWERED in our name.

assessIn order to measure the effectiveness of any program, there must be a beginning set of measurements that changes can be compared to. Changes in those measurements let us know how we are doing along the way. These measurements should be re-evaluated at pre-determined intervals that can be used to chart your results. Knowing you are going to be re-evaluated may keep you on track and help avoid temptation to stray from the program.

Six indicators give us a clear picture of your program’s effectiveness:

  1. Body Fat Percentage -Skin Fold Caliper
  2. Circumference Measurements – Tape Measure
  3. Body Weight – Scale
  4. How Clothing Fits
  5. How You Look
  6. How You Feel

If any one of these six categories is not what we expect or predict then we can go back to the program and re-evaluate the components, make the necessary adjustments and get you going in the right direction.
